Thank you for making this even possible
As many of you know, my mother passed away unexpectedly two weeks ago from a sudden illness.
(That's me and Mom on the swing, 1992)
My husband, Ethan, and I were able to travel up to Michigan to help care for her when she came home from the hospital (after a diagnosis of terminal metastatic cancer), be with her as she went home to Heaven, and to stay with my family to mourn and support each other through this difficult time.
Thank you for all your support, prayers, encouragement--for more than just during these past few weeks. If it weren't for all of you, I wouldn't even be able to have the kind of business where I can unexpectedly take a month off to care for my mother, and now my family. I am blessed beyond measure by every follow, like, comment, and purchase from each of you.
Though she, like all of us, wasn't perfect, my mother was a beautiful woman who lavished care and love on everyone she met. She reflected Jesus' love in this world, and made it a more beautiful place for having been here. I know one of the best things I can do to honor her is to continue her legacy of spreading Christ's love and beauty here on earth.
Thank you so much, friend, for helping to make that possible.
I'm back now in Texas, in the studio, slowly getting back into things. I might be a bit quiet for awhile, but the shop is back open, and I'm ready to create and play with color and stories and beauty as I process what my story looks like now without Mom. I know she'd like to see what I do next, and I cherish that.
