Our London & Edinburgh Adventure! (Psst! There are lot of pictures!)
Everyone's been asking, "How was your trip?"
The short answer? Wonderful.
The long answer? Um...Honestly, I'm not sure I can even fit a long answer into this blog post. There are so many things to tell you about; so many adventures to share.
Much of the trip was devoted to seeing the birthplaces and special sites of stories we've loved all our lives, and there were so many moments of deeper understanding about ourselves because of the power of the stories we were seeing in new ways. I know for sure I can't even begin to talk about Kensington Gardens yet--there will be a post dedicated just to that later on.
Perhaps part of the reason I've put off this blog post is because I just know I can't capture it all for you in one go. It will honestly probably unfold much more slowly than that, but for starters, I have this pictorial overview for you!

For some reason Ethan especially enjoyed taking pictures of my boots. I wore them the entire trip, and they got Round Pond on them in Kensington Gardens (and Loch Lomond as well). They're extra special now.
Someone left him at Paddington Station. We would have taken him home with us, but he was kind of stuck there...
One of the highlights of the trip was getting to meet the lovely Helen of Helen Pugh Photography and her wonderful daughter Rosie. Rosie and I hit it off right away and ended our coffee date at the National Museum of Scotland with a little bit of flying.
Helen took much, much better pictures than we did (she's incredibly good at what she does, and you should check her work out here), but Ethan managed to snag this little bit of her here. Yep, that's her finger and camera on the left.
Walking tours. That red backpack helped Ethan keep track of me while he paused frequently to take pictures.
